Founded by Sonal Sinha - Author, IIT Bombay E-Cell Mentor, and Finalist at IIT Madras Pan-India Case Quest - Youthpreneur India bridges the gap between classroom learning and real-world startup experience.

In their upcoming issue, IIT Madras is featuring the case study of Youthpreneur India, which will be taught to IIT students by their faculty members. Sonal Sinha
Founder, Youthpreneur India | Author | IIT Bombay E-Cell Mentor | IIT Madras Case Quest Finalist | Corporate TrainerSonal Sinha is an entrepreneurship educator, corporate trainer, startup mentor, and author committed to transforming India's youth into confident founders and innovators. As the Founder of Youthpreneur India, he has designed and delivered entrepreneurship programs that have empowered over 25,000 students across 25+ colleges and universities nationwide.
An IIT Bombay E-Cell Mentor and Finalist at the IIT Madras Pan-India Case Quest, Sonal has represented the IIT ecosystem in mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs-guiding them through ideation, business modeling, validation, and investor pitching. His teaching blends academic clarity with practical startup wisdom, inspiring students not just to learn entrepreneurship but to live it. As a Corporate Trainer, Sonal has conducted specialized training sessions for Chief Managers and senior executives of India's leading nationalized banks, including Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, EXIM Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, and several others- empowering leadership teams with entrepreneurial thinking, innovation strategy, and business transformation skills.
He is also the author of two acclaimed books:

His first book has been recognized by prestigious institutions such as Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, S.P.C.E., Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan (Andheri), Father Agnel (Bandra), New India Assurance, D.Y. Patil University, and U.K.S. Institute of Management Studies and Research, where it forms part of the PGDM curriculum.
His second book, Early Stage Startup Valuation, is recognized and purchased by GNVS Management Institute, Mumbai, for its academic and practical relevance.
With 12 years of diverse experience across corporate, academic, and entrepreneurial domains, Sonal has worked with reputed organizations like the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, American Express, and the Real Estate Management Institute (REMI).
As a Visiting Faculty for Entrepreneurship Studies, he teaches at leading institutions including ITM Business School, D.Y. Patil University, SIES Nerul, Thakur College, and the Boddhe Institute of Entrepreneurship. He also mentors and guides family business students in succession planning, strategic expansion, and innovation-driven growth, helping next-generation entrepreneurs modernize legacy enterprises.
Sonal is regularly invited by multiple colleges and universities as a Guest of Honour, Jury Member, Panel Discussion Speaker, and as a 'Shark' to judge startup idea competitions-where he evaluates innovative ideas, mentors budding founders, and inspires students to refine their entrepreneurial mindset.
A record-holder in the India Book of Records for writing the maximum number of chapters on entrepreneurship, Sonal continues to inspire India's youth through Youthpreneur India, mentoring founders, conducting national business plan competitions, and building a nationwide community of changemakers-helping students think beyond jobs and create ventures that truly impact lives.

She currently serves as Visiting Faculty at leading institutions including ITM Kharghar, Thakur College, SIES Nerul, and Mithibai College, among several other reputed universities and colleges across India.
At these institutions, she teaches a diverse range of subjects — from Marketing Management, Media Planning, and Business Communication to English Literature — skillfully merging analytical business acumen with creative communication insights.
As the Co-Founder of Youthpreneur India and the Institute of Designing & Fashion Technology (IDFT), Tulika has mentored over 500 students and early-stage entrepreneurs, guiding them in business model creation, digital campaign execution, and entrepreneurship development. Her mentorship philosophy emphasizes hands-on learning, innovation, and strategic thinking, helping students bridge classroom concepts with real-world applications.
Tulika’s academic qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (Welingkar Education, Mumbai), an Advanced Diploma in Digital Marketing, and a Master’s Degree in English Literature. By blending these disciplines, she brings a rare combination of communication, creativity, and commerce into her sessions, inspiring students to think both critically and creatively.
Her professional writing has appeared in prestigious publications like Woman’s Era, Bombay Times, Hindustan Times, and Thomas Cook Traveller, showcasing her versatility as both a scholar and storyteller.
